How to join your first VR group
Four steps from "I'm interested" to walking into the room. We walk you through every part — the consult, the download, the username, and your first session.
The room is already waiting. Here's how you get to it.

Before your first group, book a quick meet-and-greet with Arri. We make sure the group is a good fit, answer every question you have, and walk you through what to expect.

- We assess group appropriateness and match you to the right group

- Takes about 15 minutes; zero pressure to commit
Download VRChat or Among Us VR
Once you're matched to a group, install the app your group uses. Most support groups run in VRChat; some game-based groups use Among Us VR. Arri will tell you which one.
- VRChat — free, on Meta Quest Store or Steam (PC)
- Among Us VR — paid, on Meta Quest Store or Steam (PC)
- On headset: open the Meta Quest Store, search, install
- On PC: open Steam, search, install (VR headset still required)
Create your account & send Arri your username
Open the app, create your account, and find your username. Then send it to Arri so we can friend you and invite you into the private group room.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen setup to create your account
- Your username is shown in your profile or settings menu
- Send your username to Arri — via the contact form, email, or Meetup message
- We'll send you a friend request and a room invite before your first session
Join your first session
At your scheduled time, put on your headset, open the app, and accept the room invite from Arri. Walk in, say hi, and you're officially in.
- Put on your headset and open VRChat or Among Us VR
- Accept the friend request from Arri (sent in Step 3)
- At session time, accept the room invite and enter
- You're in the group — welcome to the room
